Does Jami Lyn have parking?

Yes, we have a private parking lot at the rear of the store that is accessible through a back alley which you can enter on Gregory or Chalmers. There are also metered parking spots directly in front of the store.

In Store Purchases

The style or size I want is sold out in the store; will it be restocked?

We do not re-order merchandise unless we have a specific request. If you would like us to order it for you tell us when you’re in the store, or send us an email at JamiLynClothing@gmail.com describing what you would like us to order. You can also call us with order request at (310) 657-5887. 

How do I pay for special orders?

If the merchandise you have requested is available, we ask that you pay in advance for the item you requested. 

Do you ship my special order or do I pick it up?

Either is fine with us!

If I requested a special order and pick it up when should I expect it to arrive?

You will receive your special order within one to two weeks after you requested it. We will respond to your request within two days to tell you if your item is available. We then place the order with the manufacturer. We receive your item in 5-10 business days. We will call you when your item is ready for pick up. 

If I want my special order shipped to me when should I expect it to arrive?

We will ship your item in 3-5 business days. All purchases are shipped UPS ground so you can expect it to arrive 3-5 business days after the item has shipped.

Can I choose express shipping?

Generally Jami Lyn does not offer express shipping. We ship everything UPS ground. If you have a specific request we may be able to accommodate you, please call (310) 657 5887. 

Once I have purchased and item online or over the phone, when can I expect it to ship and arrive?

All purchases made online or over the phone ship in 3-5 business days. All purchases are shipped UPS ground from our Los Angeles retail store, so you can expect it to arrive 3-5 business days after the item has shipped.

How can I track my online purchase?

We do not provide tracking numbers usually, however, if you email us your request at JamiLynClothing@gmail.com we will provide you with tracking information and let you know when your purchase has shipped.

If I purchase something online but it turns out its out of stock will you refund my money?

Yes, if you purchase something online but we are unable to fill your order you will be refunded the full amount.

How do I sign up for the email list?

Why should I sign up for the email list?

Our email list is how we stay in contact with our customers about sales and events happening in our Los Angeles retail store. We only send one email a week, so we don’t bother you. Often there are special sales and events that we only extend to our email list customers. For example “mention this email and receive 20% off your purchase in the store”.

Return Policy, Exchange, and Store Credit Information

What’s Jami Lyn’s Return Policy?

You can exchange merchandise for store credit, within seven days of your purchase. Store credit does not expire. We will not accept damaged, worn clothing, or clothing missing the original tag.

What is the return policy on sale merchandise?

We do not accept returns or exchanges for sale merchandise. 

Information for Costume Designers and Studios

Does Jami Lyn charge a restocking fee?

No we will never charge a restocking fee.

If I want duplicates of something can you get it?

Yes, if we do not have duplicates in the store we will order them for you.

What if I need items that you don’t have, but its very time sensitive; will you get them to me quickly?

Yes, we understand that sometimes a costume designer needs a last minute item. If it is at all possible for us to get it we will, and we will ship it as quickly as possible.

What shipping options do you offer for costume designers?

We generally ship UPS ground, however if it is time sensitive we can ship your item express at your cost. 

I don’t have time to come in and shop, will you pull merchandise for me?

Yes, all you have to do is tell us roughly what you are looking for and what sizes. It is always helpful if we can look up the show and the character to pick merchandise that is specific to the situation. We also ask that you send someone to pick it up.

Is the studio required to pay for the merchandise at the time of pick up?

No we ask that you pay once the transaction is complete.

How long can I have merchandise out for?

We allow you to keep merchandise out on memo for one week.
